Goalkeeping is a craft of its own — so it gets its own academy. Specialist sessions for ages 7 and up cover positioning, shot-stopping, crosses, distribution, and the mental focus that decides matches.

What keeper training entails

Mastering positioning, reflexes, and mental focus under pressure.

Keepers train in dedicated groups of six with a specialist coach: footwork ladders, handling circuits, 1v1 bravery, high-ball command, and playing out from the back with both feet. Every session ends with live finishing against outfield volunteers — the closest thing to Saturday.

Outfield players on the Juniors and Teens tracks can add one keeper session a week at no extra cost.

No — the academy lends gloves for trial sessions and the first month. Coaches then advise on the right size and cut before families buy.
Absolutely. Every keeper is placed in an age-group squad for Saturday league matches, and rotation guarantees real minutes in goal.
Yes. Under-12 keepers use size-3 and size-4 balls, practice age-appropriate techniques only, and diving is introduced gradually on landing mats before grass.
